12 of 12 people found the following review helpful I wish it did more, July 24, 2011 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Robo Power - Revving Robots - Bumblebee (Toy) My son received this toy from one of our friends for his birthday. At first, he was really excited and couldn't wait to get Bumblebee out of the box. He played with it for about 5 minutes, and then sadly got quickly bored with him. Here are my thoughts on why you should probably skip on purchasing this model: Cons: -Does not transform at all. -Only has about 5 different sayings. -Shield is way too hard for a child to pull to make the cannon arm spin. -Spinning arm is a hazard for long hair to get spun around in. Pros: -Only thing I can think of is that it is pretty durable. My son has thrown it and beat against many objects and it is still intact and in working order. Final thought: For $20, there are better bumblebee toys out there. This toy in my opinion, should be under $10. If you're going to spend that much money on a transformer, you'd at least expect it to transform or do more. Great for young kids., December 27, 2011 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Robo Power - Revving Robots - Bumblebee (Toy) We bought this based on its simplicity and rugged appearance and it did not dissapoint. Very rugged, simple construction with cool features. Our son is 3 and the general rule is if it doesn't swim, survive in mud and handle 45lb power bombs from a toddler, the life expectancy of said toy is about 1 percent. Bumblebee rises to the occasion and takes the hits like a champ. Pretty much indestructible. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
