Definately the hardest one to locate out of the new bunch of premium edition figures that Hasbro has put out. I thought the new paint app. would be much better next to the original, boy was I mistaken. As soon as I got home I compared the premium bumblebee to the standard one I have and the difference is very minor. The supposed new gold metallic finish isn't that much greater in comparison to the original. All you get is a little darker finish ( yellow ). The black stripping has changed a little ( big deal ). Now the gas cap and the windshield wipers are painted silver ( wow ). The paint app. really isn't all that metallic to be honest. Probably due to the fact that Hasbro always seems to do crappy paint jobs on all of their figures as of late. My major gripe and advice to all other collectors out there is why didnt Hasbro just make this the standard Bumblebee from the very begining. Actually thats a dumb... Meant for the fun and amusement of small children. Anyone expecting this to be a collector's item is going to be dissapointed. Again, this is a TOY.That said, my kids both LOVE this transformer. I think this one has taken the worst beating of them all and it's still in perfect working order. It's not an easy thing to switch back and forth. The body on this one actually comes apart to change. If you have younger kids they probably won't be able to transform it all on thier own, so be prepared to do some serious transforming. Good Luck!
