18 of 18 people found the following review helpful Awesome Game, By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Noodleboro Picnic Basket Manners Game (Toy) I got this game for my 4 year old nephew and it was a HUGE hit. The object is to collect the foods you need to have a picnic and match them to your spaces on the board. But you have to remember to say "please and thank you" otherwise you lose your turn. It's so nice to see a game that's fun and that teaches valuable lessons. And as a bonus it came with a book that we read about 6 times in one sitting and a cd with songs that he is still singing! Great game I would highly recommend. Keep up the good work Playskool. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Good educational toy, By Judy Smith (Chicago, IL, USA) - See all my reviews = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Noodleboro Picnic Basket Manners Game (Toy) The Noodleboro picnic basket manners game is a good game to teach kids about good manners. Kids have to remember to keep saying "please" and "thank you". It helps to establish good manner through repetition of saying those words. The game rule is simple. This is one of two Noodleboro games we purchased for our boys (ages 6, 4 and 9 months) for the holidays. This was purchased with my 4 year old stepbaby in mind, though his 6 year old brother found himself enjoying it, too! It's SUPER simple. This is a game for kids who have a hard time processing rules of more complicated games. Basically, you put the tokens in the picnic basket. On each turn the player asks, "May I have a token, please?" and you respond, "Yes, you may." They take a token which is either a picnic item of their color, another player's color, or an ant. They either keep the token or discard it. Then the player says, "Thank you." To win, you collect each of your color picnic items. The boys LOVED "catching" their daddy and myself not using our manners! Ok, we pretended and over-emphasized so they'd catch it, but they had fun! Sometimes we'd slip in, "gimme a token!" or "I...
